I started Starlit Nest Gifts on Etsy after a few of my friends asked if they could special order some of my handmade goodies, decorations, and quilts they had seen when they visited my home.  My little Etsy business grew exponentially when a few well known photographers started using my banners as props in their portraits.  Now my customer base reaches across the globe thanks to the miracle of the internet, and I have changed the focus of my product line to specialize in props for photographers.  My Facebook fans have done an amazing job of spreading the word about Starlit Nest.  I have now sold over 1,000 items on Etsy.com.  You can view these products to get an idea of what I LOVE to make for photographers, brides and everyone else who loves handmade decor: http://www.etsy.com/shop/StarlitNestGifts/sold
